We have just survived our mega birthday weekend (our boys are born 3 days apart) and can officially now begin the countdown to Christmas officially. My wife Sofie insists that there are no Christmas decorations up until our eldest son Noah’s birthday on the 1st of December is out of the way. It means we pack Christmas tightly into 23 solid days.
This year I’ve been struggling with keeping a balance between work and life and as a result I am dead set on trying to really enjoy the festive season which normally passes me by in a blur. Each day I’m aiming to take time to do a little something for myself and my family to try and ground us a little and help reflect on season. Regular winter walks, sauna, meditation, yoga, Christmas movie nights, weekend baking days & beach picnic are all on the list!
